Biography

Dr. Blevins has over 20 years of experience in the field of physical therapy, sports medicine, fitness, and sports performance. As a physical therapist, Dr. Blevins has used his expertise in a variety of settings to help people restore, optimize, and enhance their performance. He has worked extensively with a variety of youth, collegiate, professional, and Olympic athletes from every major sport. Dr. Blevins received his B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. He continued on with his passion for human movement sciences and was awarded his Doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) from the University of St. Augustine where he also earned his manual therapy certification (MTC). Dr. Blevins is a Champion Performance Specialist (C-PS) and uses his love for strength and conditioning to apply to his patients. His focus is on finding the athlete inside all of his patients. He also has extensive training in movement assessment (FMS, SFMA), Kinesiotaping, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM/Graston Technique), Cupping, Dry Needling and many other recovery techniques.
